Principal's Message

Welcome to our DeBary Elementary Family and home of the Soaring Eagles!

DeBary Elementary is located in the beautiful city of DeBary, FL. Our school celebrated our 25th Anniversary in the 2021-2022 school year! DeBary has approximately 917 students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade and employs approximately 90 faculty and staff members.e

Our goal this year is to focus on the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs of our students. We will be focusing on delivering high level engaging and rigorous instruction to meet the state standards at each grade level. DeBary has added a second guidance counselor this year to meet the social and emotional needs of our children and we will provide physical education three days per week to keep our students physically active.

The staff at DeBary is committed to providing the best educational experience possible for all students. This is only possible through a team effort of all stakeholders including staff, parents, students and community members. We have a wonderful parent-teacher organization (PTO) and school advisory committee (SAC) that meets regularly to provide input, direction, guidance and support to our school. We encourage you to get involved!

It is the combination of high-quality teaching in the classroom, the commitment of our families to promote and support learning, and the desire of our students to do their very best that makes DeBary Elementary a special place to be.
